Tool manipulation device
24 March 2014
Among the products showcased by RUD at the forthcoming MACH 2014, will be its Tool-Mover Manipulation Device for the safe handling of heavy and awkward plant and injection moulding tools.

The Tool-Mover offers a variety of safety features. It has the ability to turn the load at the centre of gravity, meaning that the load is turned smoothly and securely. The unit is equipped with a frequency controlled drive which helps ensure an even and smooth drive from start to finish. It it can also be stopped in any position securely even if power to the unit is cut.
The Tool-Mover is easy to use and position and, as it does not need to be bolted to the floor, it can be moved locations in a facility via a crane or forklift/pallet truck. As well as improving operator safety, the Tool-Mover helps reduce costs to damaged tools and provides the ability to handle tools efficiently ranging from 6.3 to 32t. Stand 4456
