Racking tags
16 July 2014
Designed especially for use in warehouse environments, the Racking Tag from Spectrum Industrial is a holder and inserts system for recording inspection and safety data on safety critical equipment such as racking, while also providing visually impactive warning information for potential users.

The tag is supplied in a pack of five and carries an integral ‘Do Not Use’ message as the default communication if specific tag inserts are missing. It is made from durable, flexible, weatherproof reinforced nylon with a ‘break’ in the edge for easy insertion of specific safety information. There is a selection of polypropylene inserts to cover most commonly found warehouse hazards, inspection status or operator information requirement.
Inserts can also be customised by Spectrum to include logos or any other particular specification. The Racking Tag is easy to fix to a racking system using a choice of rivets, tie wraps, adhesive strips or glue.
The Racking Tag provides a record of the inspection process as well as an inspection checklist, reducing the risk of liability by creating a clear audit trail. In the event of a failed inspection¸ the system warns personnel that equipment is not fit for purpose, avoiding potential accidents.
