Fastest palletising robot
31 July 2014
Exhibiting with packaging system specialist and ABB system integrator RM Group at The PPMA Show, ABB will be showcasing key features of its IRB 460 robot, said to be the ‘fastest palletising robot in the world'.

This robot is capable of up to 2,190 cycles per hour, making it suitable for high-speed end-of-line palletising and bag palletising. The IRB 460 occupies 20% less floor space and runs 15% faster than its nearest rivals.
The stand will also include more information about ABB's range of palletising robots, grippers, plus its easy-to-use programming software, RobotStudio Palletising PowerPac. RM will also feature its own range of manual bagging machines, palletising systems, bulk filling and material handling systems, plus its mobile packaging system.
