Step-by-step guide to introducing robots
19 September 2019
If you’ve ever considered adding robots to your production line but don’t know where to start, then ABB’s Switch to Robots Ireland seminar could be a useful starting point.

The seminar will provide a simple step-by-step guide to introducing robotic automation to the factory floor.
Starting with the question ‘how do you know if you need a robot?’, the event will cover key aspects of developing, specifying and financing a robotic installation. ABB will demonstrate how to develop the right solution for your needs, and how to calculate the potential return on investment that can be achieved in different types of applications.
There will also be the opportunity to learn from the experiences of an SME manufacturer who has introduced robots to their factory floor, plus the chance to see a collaborative robot demonstration.
“Irish manufacturers are struggling to keep pace with other leading nations that are able to quickly produce high-quality goods at low costs. For Irish SMEs to remain competitive and boost their productivity they must embrace the latest production technologies,” says Shane Loughran, Regional Account Manager at ABB Robotics.
“Our Switch to Robots event has been designed to help businesses identify whether a robot could be beneficial and explain the steps they need to take in finding the best solution for their requirements.”
