Four accreditations in 18 months
02 September 2014
In just 18 months since its creation, James Walker UK has moved to new offices in Crewe — and gained its four internationally recognised accreditations.

Both James Walker UK and James Walker & Co are now accredited to the standards ISO 9001 Quality management, AS/EN 9001 Aviation, Space & Defence, ISO 14001 Environmental management, and OHSAS 18001 Occupational health & safety.
Ron Smith, MD, says: "Achieving the three additional accreditations, as well as ISO 9001 Quality Management, will undoubtedly help James Walker UK to integrate quality, environmental, and health and safety management systems throughout our operations.”
James Walker & Co is the Group’s first manufacturing company to gain all four. It has held ISO 9001 since the standard was first introduced.
Mark Brook, supply chain manager of James Walker & Co, said: "Adding ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 to our existing quality standards, reinforces our aim of continual improvement across our quality, safety and environmental agendas. Providing a safe place to work for our colleagues, and minimising our environmental impact in the communities in which we live and work, are always uppermost in our minds.”
