Bridging a gap
16 September 2014
Application software expert Red Ledge is to bring a new, web-based CRM customer relationship-project management product to market.

According to Red Ledge, its CRM-PM system (which incorporates full document management with links to Microsoft Outlook) is designed to provide a significantly lower-cost, one-stop, integrated alternative to the combination of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint solutions and is suitable for manufacturing, supply chain and other companies who need a robust business solution but do not require the combined functionality of the two Microsoft products.
The system has been developed in response to a Red Ledge customer request. A design, manufacturing and assembly company needed to increase its tracking capability to meet evolving ISO standards, and finding that an expansion of its existing Microsoft CRM and SharePoint environment would be beyond its budget, it asked Red Ledge to develop a solution that would meet its needs.
"It seems there is a gap in the market for an integrated product of this kind that can be used by any business that wants to follow PM and CRM best practice, but does not need a full-blown enterprise system to do so” says Andy O’Donnell, MD of Red Ledge.
