Tough bags and sacks

15 May 2015

Kite Packaging's new FIBC bags, are made from woven polypropylene and can be loaded with up to 1t of product. Most suited to dry, free-flowing products, they have strong lifting handles to be used with a crane or forklift.

The bags provide the strength and tear resistance of a rigid container, but are said to be easier to transport. Mostly used for storage, they can also be used as a replacement for skips to collect building rubbish.

Kite has also launched a range of Rubble Sacks, as part of its aim to offer the building industry a ‘one-stop shop’ for packaging products. The new sacks come in three different colours, and are all made from 125 micron thick material.

Providing a high level of burst resistance against sharp and bulky items, the rubble sacks can be used to collect heavy waste products such as broken bricks, timber, and plaster. They are made from recycled material and have been competitively sourced – prices start at 12.5p a sack.
