Spotlight on theatre lighting
31 July 2015
Goodlight 100W LED High Bay lighting has been installed at two UK theatres.
Featured within many of the communal and audience areas of Liverpool's Everyman Theatre, Goodlight 100W LED High Bays are energy efficient alternatives to traditional 400W lamps. These super bright lamps provide energy savings, said to be in excess of 75%, have a 50,000h rated life span, and are covered by a five year guarantee.
A lighting upgrade has also been completed at the Margot Fonteyn Studio Theatre within the Royal Ballet Lower School. The150W Metal Halide units were replaced by Goodlight 100W LED High Bay units. Providing consistent lighting levels at over twice that achieved by the original fittings, the reliability of the Goodlight lamps has eliminated maintenance costs. The Royal Ballet School expects to recoup the cost of the lighting upgrade quickly through substantial energy savings.
