Hygienic fitting
18 October 2015
Flexicon has launched a food grade hygienic fitting for flexible conduit systems protecting cables used in the food industry.

The new LPC fitting has smooth edges and no crevices where particles, dust or bacteria could accumulate. The fitting is as round as possible with a minimum area of flats for tightening.
It can be used with LPC and LTP conduits to form a complete liquid tight, hygienic system for the food industry with an ingress protection of IP66, IP67, IP68 (two bar pressure) and IP69. This means that cabling can be protected against cleaning processes such as high pressure jets of steam and also be immersed in water.
