Automated reporting
12 December 2015
When North American healthcare services company, McKesson, required a system to ensure that products are stored within product specifications, it sought a monitoring system that could supply gap-free reports, real-time data on conditions, and reliable alarming.

The reporting features of the future system were a critical decision factor. Facilities manager Joe Cwiertniewicz said: "Once we learned that with Vaisala’s Continuous Monitoring System, we could set up automated reports, we saw a significant time-saver. The staff would no longer need to go in and process reports every month. The system automatically generates and emails our reports."
The McKesson quality team evaluated four different monitoring systems by installing and testing them in various environments. Each of the systems fulfilled McKesson’s fundamental criteria, but in the end, they chose the Vaisala Continuous Monitoring System (CMS). The system provides automated and customizable reporting, optional installation/validation service, and on-site calibrations. The software’s reporting features were critical in the decision to purchase.
