Core technologies
15 January 2016
The Ford EcoBoost engine will be centre-stage on the Henkel stand at Southern Manufacturing. Not only does it demonstrate the company’s prowess in sealing highly stressed joints, it shows how Henkel’s brands such as Loctite, Bonderite, Technomelt, and Teroson can be effectively incorporated into automated production.

In general the Henkel stand will focus on its core technologies – threadlocking, sealing, gasketing, retaining, instant and structural bonding. Many of these processes will be demonstrated using the latest product introductions such as Loctite 4902 that combines the benefits of an instant adhesive with flexibility, resistance to leaks and excellent sealing capability; it is particularly useful in medical device manufacture.
How an adhesive is applied significantly influences its overall performance and cost efficiency. Henkel will therefore be emphasising its expertise in the supply of dispensing equipment, from manual to fully automatic. New at the show will be a twin rotor pump for highly precise automated adhesive dispensing. Stand no: M91
