Loctite 4090, a cyanoacrylate/epoxy hybrid adhesive, is the subject of the latest industry brochure from Henkel and has its own How To Dispense video on the Loctite website.
The adhesive has the bond strength and speed needed to solve many of today’s design and assembly challenges. It is said to deliver high quality performance in extreme environments and conditions to also solve many industrial repair challenges. Combining the fastening speed of cyanoacrylate with the durability and toughness of an epoxy, an extensive combination of substrates can be bonded, including those that require a structural bond to fill gaps of up to 5mm.
This two-part hybrid is supplied in a 50ml cartridge – with five mixing nozzles – which slots into a standard Loctite handgun for application.
