Auto-deployment saves time & money
11 October 2016
Auto-deployment, or using a complex decision making algorithm to decide the best resource to carry out a piece of work without human involvement, might sound like something from the future, but it's available today.

By using Agility, reactive maintenance and repair work can be automatically deployed saving time and money. Once the system is set up Agility can take over and auto-deploy work based on a team's skill set, priority of the work being done, the urgency of the request and how close they are to the problem.
Agility can break work down into prioritised separate sequential tasks, so tasks are allocated in priority order only on completion of the previous task.
If, for example, a leak needed to be dealt with the first priority is to make the area safe, the leak then needs investigating and fixing and finally the area needs cleaning all of which could involve multiple skill sets and individuals. Each worker will receive their work request only when the repair work is complete so everyone’s time is managed, workflow is streamlined and administration is reduced.
It is predicted that auto-deployment will become the accepted norm within the next few years but it will be part of Agility Version 8 coming early 2017
