Two-handed controller
10 February 2017
Available from Thorite, IMI Norgren's Two-Hand Controller requires both hands to simultaneously press two buttons within 0.5 seconds in order to activate the machine.

According to the Health & Safety Commission, during the year 2014/2015 there were around 70,000 reported workplace injuries in the manufacturing sector, of which 8400 were as a result of contact with machinery.
Accidents are an unavoidable fact of life; the only thing that we can do is make sure that everything is done to ensure that the systems in-place are capable of keeping accidents to an absolute minimum – which is the thinking behind the IMI Norgren Two-Hand Control Unit launched by Thorite.
It takes the place of whatever was previously used to activate the machine – lever, pedal, button, and so on – and is easy to install.
The controller complies with the latest European Machinery Directive requirements – ISO 13489 and EN574 class IIIB – and is tamper-proof. It is delivered complete and carries a two-year warranty.
For a limited period, Thorite is offering its Two-Hand Controller at a launch price of £450. For a free no-obligation demonstration and an IMI catalogue, please contact Alan Donkersley on the number below.
