The portfolio of wire-cut electronic discharge machines (EDMs), which FANUC has manufactured since 1975, now comes with enhanced speed and precision for mould-making and parts machining.
Capable of being integrated with FANUC robots, ROBOCUT machines are helping manufacturers to optimise their efficiency by enabling continuous, unmanned operation.
Last year, FANUC launched the ROBOCUT C-iB series, which is equipped with the latest technologies, including automatic wire-feeding functions and FANUC Core Stitch technology. The newest model in the range, ROBOCUT a-C800iB, also has a maximum cutting area of (x)800mm x (y)600mm x (z)2500mm and a work-piece mass capacity of 3000kg.
