New hire depot opens in Ireland
19 October 2017
German-based company, Karcher, is now providing its robust cleaning machines for hire in Ireland, enabling customers to enjoy all the benefits without any high upfront cost.

Operating out of Finglas in Dublin, the new hire depot will offer a wide range of Kärcher cleaning machines, from scrubber dryers to pressure washers and steam cleaners to mini road sweepers. Kärcher Hire Ireland will be offering a full solution-based approach to hire, offering delivery, training, servicing and maintenance of all its machines.
Commenting on their move into the cleaning equipment hire market in Ireland, Cedric O’Flaherty, general manager, said: “Our expansion into the hire market in Ireland reflects the change in the cleaning industry. We believe our contract hire offering allows customers to have greater control over their costs and ultimately their cleaning capabilities.”
So, what is it that Kärcher Hire can offer to businesses across Ireland? With the option to choose a hire contract that suits the customer, from 1 week to 5 years, the flexible nature of cleaning equipment hire is expected to appeal to many. Customers can hire, and pay for, machines for the time they require them. Hiring means there’s no large initial outlay, no finance agreements and no down payments.
Kärcher Hire believe in working in partnerships with customers, taking pride in not just delivering the machines, but carrying out training with every delivery. Customers who choose to take a longer-term contract hire will get the extra benefit of re-training at any point during their hire to ensure competency of their operatives. Contract Hire no longer means you’ll be stuck with a machine for the duration of your hire, as with Kärcher Hire you’ll be afforded the flexibility to terminate or exchange a machine for a different one should your requirements change. Whether you opt for a short-term or long-term hire, their specialist fleet of vehicles will deliver most machines within the next day.
The market is evolving, with speed and expertise being of the essence. This is further reflected in the servicing, maintenance and breakdown response Kärcher Hire offer, as O’Flaherty explains: “We know that our customers simply cannot afford downtime, so if the unfortunate does happen we will attend every breakdown within 24 hours, and our fully qualified engineers achieve a high percentage of first time fixes on the customers site. If we cannot repair it we will have a replacement machine on site within 48h of the breakdown.”
