Both the Wickes and Travis Perkins brands sell products of different shapes and sizes from distribution centres which operate 24/7. These operations constantly need more space and with Wickes being more for the general public, e-commerce becomes a major part of the business.
As Travis Perkins/Wickes wanted to free internal space for picking systems, conveyor belts and other equipment, it needed more space to load and unload. CopriSystems installed a number of different sized structures, taking into consideration vehicle fleets and specific insurance requirements, such as sprinkler systems.
Now, no products are left outside and forklifts running back and forth into the warehouse remain dry, preventing potential health and safety issues with wet floor surfaces.
CopriSystems has also installed smaller canopies at retail stores.
