Strong demand for IMHX 2019

30 November 2017

More than half of the available floor space at 2019’s International Materials Handling Exhibition – IMHX 2019 –  has been allocated, reports exhibition director, Rob Fisher.

The logistics sector is experiencing growth driven by internet retail, as well as the engineering and manufacturing sectors; it is worth about £55bn to the UK’s economy.

Fisher adds that because intralogistics technology is evolving, the tri-annual IMHX event will have a greater emphasis on the automated, robotics and artificial intelligence solutions that are shaping the way successful modern supply chains operate.

Held within four halls of the NEC, Birmingham, during September 2019, IMHX 2019 will showcase the products and services offered by over 400 companies, and is expected to attract more than 16,000 visitors.
