MACH success

24 May 2018

TOTAL Lubricants showcased its metalworking lubrication products that can extend tool lifetime, enhance productivity and improve health and safety, at MACH 2018.

TOTAL says it generated an outstanding number of leads at the show and reported an excellent response from visitors to its stand, who discovered how TOTAL’s products and services could help them overcome their specific challenges.

Combining the latest generation of anti-wear and extreme pressure agents, MARTOL EP CF replaces chlorinated oils for the most stringent metal forming operations. Enhanced with lubricity agents that support a wide range of temperatures, MARTOL EP CF oils effectively control the friction between the tool and the material regardless of the pressure.

VALONA MS 7023 HC is part of the VALONA HC range of neat cutting oils and is a high performance hydrocracked-based product optimized for stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. Its low volatility and high resistance to oxidization reduces misting and oil consumption due to evaporation, while extending tool lifetime.
Both lubricants meet the ISO/TS 12927 MHF standard and have been specially formulated to deliver improved health and safety performance, reduced oil consumption and waste, increased operating time, improved reliability and reduced operating cost.

Soluble cutting oil, SPIRIT 7000 is specifically designed for heavy machining and offers a very high resistance to micro-organism development, thereby increasing drain intervals of fluid baths. Its operator-friendly formulation uses the safest molecules on the market.

TOTAL also promoted its added-value services such as ANAC INDUS, its oil analysis service which utilises expert diagnostic and preventative information to help identify and prevent machinery health issues, and TIG 6, its optimised maintenance software for managing industrial lubricants.

Pantelis Zoupas, marketing manager at TOTAL Industrial Lubricants, said: “Our first time exhibiting at MACH was incredibly successful and generated a good number of quality leads.

“It is the combination of our high-quality products and value-added services, together with our UK presence and full national coverage, backed by dedicated sales and technical support, which makes us the number one choice for industrial lubricants among engineers and manufacturers.

“In an industry where performance, productivity, quality and safety are key, our research and development team is constantly working to bring innovative solutions to market that address the specific challenges our customers face. Later this year, we will launch a game-changing product that will revolutionise metalworking lubrication.”
