Pen gets a measure of noise
09 July 2018
The Pulsar NoisePen is a wearable noise dosimeter – a self-contained noise measuring device designed to help safety officers meet the needs of the Noise at Work Regulations and safeguard workers from harmful noise.

The NoisePen can be used to measure the noise exposure of individual employees who are exposed to different noise environments over a working day or shift, allowing easy identification of who is at risk and when they are at risk.
There are no cables and no additional reader or charger is needed. The device captures, records and calculates noise exposure data for over 30 hours and is suitable for shift workers, lone workers and those working in confined spaces.
The device is simple to use, fully compliant with international noise standards, and can help protect a company from costly noise-induced hearing loss claims.
