Ametek Land makes strategic appointments

David Primhak has been appointed as director for sales and product management. In this role, Primhak will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities and optimising routes to market. Working with the global sales and marketing team, and the industry and product management teams, this position will drive Ametek Land’s ambitious strategic growth strategy.
 
Three regional directors have been appointed within the Land business unit to further support this strategy.  Anthony Kirkham is the new director of sales for Europe and Africa. With over 10 years of experience working at Land in a variety of sales and technical roles, Kirkham is well-placed to support customers with his applications knowledge in core vertical markets.
 
Customers in the Asia region will see Shyh Huah Tay assume the position of director of sales for Asia. This role sees him take on additional responsibilities for Land’s combustion product lines and the infra-red product portfolio.
 
Finally, as director of sales for the Americas, Larry Smith will continue to focus on sales and growth in this region. After four years within the business, Smith has the experience and knowledge to continue to drive sales and support for the U.S.
