Leading independent fluid power distributor
25 March 2022
TOM PARKER Ltd has gone from strength to strength over the past five decades, celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2022. To help mark this milestone the company is primary sponsor of the Fluid Power & Systems show, being held at the NEC, from the 5-7 April, and will also launch a new product catalogue covering a comprehensive range of industrial, process, hydraulic and pneumatic products.

Commenting on the Fluid Power & Systems sponsorship, UK sales manager and BFPDA Board Member, Seb Cole said: “Everyone at Tom Parker is committed to providing the highest levels of service to all our customers and this is one of the many reasons for our ongoing success. Our focus has always been on supplying high quality, competitively priced product ranges. We now have more than 36,000 product lines in our 2022-2023 product catalogue and distribute more than 80 brands that span right across pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial and process markets.
“The FPS show provides us with a great opportunity to meet our customers in person, further strengthen relationships and exhibit many of our innovative products directly to the decision makers in the fluid power market. Visitors to our stand can raise any technical issues they may have, and we will provide impartial, expert advice and product solutions. We particularly relish a challenge so why not put us to the test? We pride ourselves on our ability to source complete turnkey product solutions to the most challenging of fluid power projects.”
Working demonstrations
Tom Parker will have working demonstrations of key product ranges and product displays from their core brands, CPC, CEJN, CDC, E.MC, Fastest, Sicomat and Master Pneumatic. Many of the highly skilled workforce are long serving employees who have a wealth of expert knowledge and will be available to offer technical advice on Stand D42. The team is looking forward to meeting customers, national UK product distributors and interacting with many potential clients face-to-face after the show's four year COVID-related hiatus.
Company history
Tom Parker first established the business in 1972, to distribute the innovative quick connect couplings by Cejn of Sweden to the UK pneumatic and hydraulic market. Tom Parker Ltd went from strength to strength, soon acquiring the UK distribution rights for products from American connection specialists CPC – Colder Products Company; both of whom the company are proud to work with to this day.
In 1999 Tom Parker Ltd started to produce product catalogues aimed at distribution, OEM and end users: building up a wide resale network spanning the UK. Many of these companies have the Tom Parker catalogue personalised with their company details along with the option to have a clone or fully bespoke website.
“Now there are only two independent catalogue providers for distributors left in the UK fluid power network; we are enormously proud to be one of these,” said Richard Parker, sales director.
