Low-foaming, ferrous semi-synthetic coolant
14 October 2019
TRIM MicroSol 456 joins Master Fluid Solutions’ range of semi-synthetic micro emulsion coolants.

It is designed to meet the needs of European manufacturers who focus on the high production of cast iron and ferrous parts, as well as some aluminium alloy and non-ferrous machining.
It extends the scope of TRIM MicroSol to provide a cost-effective solution for those who do not require the multi-purpose qualities of other products in this range.
An important benefit is that it is low-foaming even in soft water areas. The coolant is therefore suitable for use in demanding applications such as grinding, high-pressure and high-volume machining, milling, slab milling and turning.
This is a modern, high technology product characterised by its high mechanical lubricity and ability to optimise production costs through higher cutting quality, longer tool life and long sump life. Its advanced formulation means that it is free from boron, formaldehyde donors and all aggressive biocides, providing full compliance with the strictest health and safety guidelines.
TRIM MicroSol 456 is said to provide superior corrosion inhibition on cast iron and eliminates ‘hot chip’ and clinkering problems. It also keeps machines very clean while leaving a soft fluid film for easy cleaning and reduced maintenance. No special disposal or recycling is required.
