Resistance temperature detectors
14 March 2019
Labfacility offers both wire-wound and flat film Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs).

Labfacility says that wire-wound types provide greater accuracy and stability, but are vulnerable to shock, whereas flat film types are resistant to shock and have quicker thermal response times.
The company offers a selection of flat film RTDs: 100, 500 and 1000 Ohm in class A, B or 1/3 DIN and says these have quick thermal response times compared to wirewound detectors.
Labfacility also offers a selection of 100 Ohm RTD wire wound detectors – single and dual element types – available in class A, B or 1/10 DIN. These are said to provide greater accuracy and stability, but to be vulnerable to shock.
