Raising washroom hygiene standards

29 September 2021

RISING DEMAND for ecological cleaning has seen an increase in the use of steam. The latest 'dry' steam machines can offer the versatility that every operator needs, says Mike Osiadacz, sales director of Matrix Cleaning Systems.

For many years, steam has been used to remove grease and oil from kitchen machinery, because this is very visible and all catering equipment needs to be cleaned to the highest standards. More recently, Matrix Cleaning Systems says it has seen a growing increase in the application of steam for maintaining washroom hygiene. While walking into a clean and fresh washroom environment is always a pleasant experience, unfortunately, it is not a regular occurrence. When the hygiene standards fall, we remember that bad experience, and avoid re-visiting, asserts Osiadacz.

WIth the SV4 steam machine from Matrix, every time you clean you are carrying out a ‘Deep Clean’, using clean steam at very high temperatures and ensuring that all surfaces are clean and free from bacteria.
