TOPTICA names Diana Dreyer VP of HR

TOPTICA PHOTONICS has appointed Diana Dreyer to the role of VP human resources (head of HR). In this role, she is responsible for the HR strategy of the TOPTICA Group and is driving the continued scaling up of talent acquisition, leadership development, and organisational culture.
Dreyer brings more than 20 years of experience in HR management at international high‑tech, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods companies. She has a broad skill set across diverse HR domains, from strategic workforce planning and people and culture to labour‑law topics - from which TOPTICA will strongly benefit.
"With Diana Dreyer, we are gaining an experienced HR leader who will effectively support our ambitious growth strategy in Quantum Technology, Biophotonics, and Semicon/Materials," said Thomas Renner, chief sales officer (CSO) and president of TOPTICA Photonics. "Together with Diana and the HR team, we will actively shape the challenges that TOPTICA’s growth brings for the HR organisation."
From 2020-2026, Dreyer served at Excelitas Technologies as HR manager and deputy head of HR, providing leadership across multiple HR workstreams. In her new role, she is building and advancing TOPTICA’s strategic people agenda: from HR strategy and talent development to the continued digitalisation of HR processes.

With the new HR leadership, TOPTICA will continue to professionalise HR processes worldwide, expand international talent programs, and further align the people strategy with the company’s objectives.
