WEG Türkiye brings full motor and automation portfolio to ISK-SODEX Istanbul 2025

WEG, THE global electric motor manufacturer, will present its comprehensive range of locally produced and globally recognised energy-efficient motors at ISK-SODEX Istanbul 2025, taking place from October 22 to 24 at the İstanbul Fuar Merkezi, Yeşilköy. The event is one of the largest in Eurasia for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC-R) and related industries, attracting thousands of OEMs, system integrators and end users.

Visitors to WEG’s Stand C26, in Hall 2, will discover a broad portfolio of locally produced and globally proven solutions, including the W20 series of IE3 high-efficiency three-phase motors, as well as permanent magnet and single-phase models manufactured in Türkiye under the Volt brand.

Also on display will be the W22 Smoke Extraction, W22 Exproof, W51 and other Volt WEG Group designs, together with specialised units such as milking machine motors.

In addition, the company will showcase its high-efficiency permanent magnet range, used in pumps, compressors, household appliances and electric vehicles. Complementing the motor line-up will be automation products, including drives and controls, plus gearboxes.

Throughout the exhibition, WEG will emphasise the role of energy-efficient motors and automation systems in meeting Türkiye’s new energy efficiency regulations - such as the requirement to replace outdated motors with high-efficiency models that deliver at least 15% energy savings under the Energy Efficiency Strategy 2030 and the Second National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (2024–2030) - and supporting sustainability goals. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the benefits of WEG’s permanent magnet motor solutions, which deliver IE4 and IE5 efficiency levels, reducing both energy consumption and carbon emissions.

The stand will feature a dedicated meeting area for technical presentations with WEG experts, including Yalçın Erkayhan focussing on motors and gearboxes, Kubilay Terzi on automation, Şemsettin Ercan on medium-voltage motors and drives, and Bilal Şerefhanoğlu on export marketing and sales. Together with distributors, they will demonstrate how WEG Türkiye combines global expertise with local agility.
