Automatic Lubrication - Avoiding premature wear and failures
29 October 2018
Components that are excessively lubricated or starved of lubrication are subject to premature wear and failure
Munich, 22 July 2014 - Excessive or starved lubrication of components and machines can be prevented through the use of automatic lubricant dispensers. The Klübermatic series made by Klüber Lubrication, which is already well established in many industries ensures reliable and precise lubrication of the friction points, and now the Klübermatic range is now complemented by the Klübermatic Flex dispenser - a flexible lubrication unit in compact design.
"Klübermatic Flex is very clean, reliable and cost-effective", explains Alexander Dörner, Head of Service Business Development at Klüber Lubrication. "The automatic lubrication system does not only prevent over-lubrication of components, but also premature wear of machine parts due to starved lubrication while extending maintenance intervals and reducing production losses."
Automatic lubrication also provides advantages over manual lubrication when it comes to lubrication points that are difficult to access and far apart, or where high temperatures are prevalent. The automatic dispensing system is available in several designs which all facilitate variable lubrication interval settings. Klübermatic can be used for single-point lubrication of rolling and plain bearings, slideways, open gears, toothed racks, threaded spindles, shaft seals and chains.
