CP Ergo Wing Drills – Comfort and precision
06 June 2019
Chicago Pneumatic Industrial drills with ‘CP Ergo Wing’ are designed to provide operator comfort during high usage and productivity.

This ergonomic design provides improved ergonomic posture to the operator as the wrist and tool are aligned for optimum force transmission. An example of this is the CP1114 R05, ½” capacity ,500 rpm, achieving high precision due to the triple caged planetary gears providing durable speed reduction. Double front bearings are also fitted along with the Jacobs chuck to ensure minimal runout values. This enables the tool to run for up to 800 hours between service intervals providing the Industrial /MRO sector with cost effective solution to drilling applications.
As with all Chicago Pneumatic ½” drills a robust side handle is provided to further ensure torque effects to the operators wrist are reduced. All models are easy action with forward /reverse switch for drilling and reaming type applications. Additionally, with drills extra comfort can be obtained by using the Chicago Pneumatic range of Air Flex swivel connectors to connect from the tool to the airline making the rigid air hose more flexible and multi-directional. The additional flexibility given ensures that the air hose does not become twisted and remains in the ideal working position, helping to reduce the risk of tendinitis for the user.
