Water Tube Boilers
23 April 2025
Babcock Wanson Water Tube Boilers typically start at 10,000 kg/h up to 150,000kg/h and pressures up to 150barg. They are ideally suited to us in thermal power plants, (petro-)chemicals, paper, sugar factories, food & beverage, marine / ships, and district heating.

Advantages of the boiler technology
- High rate of steam production and high-pressure applications
- ‘Made-to-measure’ bespoke solutions
- Easier maintenance and inspection access
- Other technical benefits: more precise control range
- Wide variety of fuels can be used
- Complementary to high-pressure high-voltage boilers
- Efficiency: NOx / CO2 emissions typically lower than Fire Tube Boilers, due to the larger combustion chamber
