Tour & Andersson has ensured
valves for the waterborne system and
biomass boiler at Stansted airport's
£40m extension were delivered to
time and to budget.
The valves are used in the movement of hot and cold water through the system from biomass boilers. Results indicate the biomass technology is set to help reduce predicted annual gas consumption at the airport by nearly 40%.
It was Tour & Andersson's commitment to quick delivery that secured it the contract.
