The Fabbri range of wood
burning workshop heaters
offer a way of turning waste
wood into a fuel that can be used to
heat workshops or warehouses
Euroheat, a specialist in biomass
heating, offers the heaters with heat
outputs from 29 to 410kW. They are
suitable for burning all types of dry
wood and secondary waste wood
such as broken pallets. Fuel chambers
are made of high grade stainless steel
and the unit is robust yet simple.
Wood is loaded manually through an upper fuelling door; ash removed through a lower access door. The heater can be fired as fast as is needed to get rid of wood waste, and ash removed every couple of days. The heater's flue can be fan assisted which makes lighting easy. The flue can be simple and short with few restrictions on siting. Efficiency is high (around 83%) and heating starts 15min after lighting. Once 40°C is reached a fan sends high volumes of heated air out into the factory or warehouse space.
