software for use with its variable
speed drives. It is said to boost safety,
reliability and performance of
industrial, harbour and tower cranes.
The Crane Control Program is an optional add-on for the ABB industrial drives range which extends from 0.55 to 5600kW. At the heart of the design is ABB's motor control platform,Direct Torque Control. The Program uses DTC to deliver enhanced safety and provides accurate slow speed control with high torque levels.
