Parker domnick hunter, a division of Parker Hannifin, has won the Queen's Award for Enterprise 2010 in the International Trade category.
The Award recognises the company's success in developing new export markets for its ranges of gas separation technologies, including the MAXIGAS nitrogen generation systems. These are used, for example, in a wide range of industrial, food and beverage processing, modified atmosphere packaging, chemical blanketing, laser cutting and oil and gas applications.
Compact, modular and self-contained, the system provides businesses with a cost effective and practical method of generating nitrogen on site, from a conventional supply of compressed air. It eliminates the need for traditional gas bottles and bulk storage facilities.
