ABB has extended its 2600T pressure
transmitter family with
new features, offering
greater levels of
simplicity and cost
effectiveness whilst
reducing the time needed for
commissioning and
maintenance.
Key to the 2600T's simplicity is its use of ABB's new universal HMI.
Using a menu-based interface in clear text, the 2600T transmitters can be easily configured in just seconds, compared to the several minutes required for alternative devices using handheld configurators. This menu can also be used to quickly select and display different variables, providing operators with fast access to additional data.
These benefits are further extended by the ability to quickly repair or upgrade the transmitter in the field by easily changing the electronics module, rather than the whole transmitter.
