A melt pressure measuring chain from
Kistler comprises factory calibrated
sensor, matched amplifier and cable
and is designed for precision and
reliability. It measures and records
melt pressure in injection moulding
machines and hot runner systems
and is suitable for measuring static
pressure in polymer pumps.
Melt pressure and temperature signals can be integrated into the machine's control system. The stable, high temperature resistant, piezoresistive measuring element is protected by a robust diaphragm, so the sensor can be mounted directly in the flow of the material.
