ESAB has introduced two new models
to its PowerCut line of manual
cutting packages. The lightweight
portable PowerCut 900 and 1600
packages have design features that
simplify operation, reduce set-up
time and enhance consumable life.
PowerCut models are said to offer the highest speeds and thickness capabilities in their class, as well as high duty cycles. Long parts life, high speeds and simple torch design, mean they give a low cost per metre of cut.
The power source is contained within a durable external housing which is corrosion and weather resistant. Sensitive internal electronics are suspended from the aluminium frame and insulated from shock and vibration. Features include quick disconnect torch, digital readout that shows exact pressure or amperage, help code, and blow back technology that eliminates high frequency start-ups.
