Exhibition organiser, easyFairs, is launching easyFairs Materials Handling 2011, a show focused on the materials handling supply-chain.

Taking place on 30th and 31st March 2011 at the NEC, the show is aimed at those working in logistics, distribution and supply-chain functions, through to operations, plant and production managers.

Partners include ALEM, AHMSA and SEMA, and a number of companies have already signed up for the new show.

Tim Faithful from ALEM comments: :"ALEM supports this smaller, highly targeted exhibition that covers the entire materials handling industry, making it well suited for our members." In addition to showcasing an array of partners and exhibitors, the show will feature learnShop seminars and a mix of show floor features.

Matt Benyon, managing director of easyFairs UK & Ireland, says: "In this day and age no one launches a trade show lightly, but our in depth research within the materials handling industry, told us that an annual show was needed that was efficient, cost effective and focused." The Materials Handling show will be co-located with the company's Maintec 2011 which this year attracted 1632 visitors.
