Anthony Grainger, a service
technician with Demag Cranes &
Components, has been awarded the
Cyril McCauley Memorial Prize by
the Lifting DEquipment Engineers'
Association.
Grainger studied for the Lifting Machines (Power) Diploma via a correspondence course before sitting an exam in April 2010. He passed with distinction and, in the opinion of the LEEA examination board, his paper was the best submitted by 54 candidates worldwide.
The LEEA has a dedicated training centre in Huntingdon and offers training at members' premises or distance learning courses via post, email and online for members worldwide.
