The Royal Society for the
Prevention of Accidents is launching
a Meet the Experts event series.
Half-day seminars on how to effectively involve workers in accident and ill health prevention are the first in the series, and take place at RoSPA's training centre in Birmingham on February 16.
Seminars on effective training and work-related road safety will follow on February 17 and 28 respectively.
Safety professionals from the charity and from other organisations will showcase their tried and tested methods and strategies, and will present relevant case studies.
Delegates will have the opportunity to hear the experts speak, question their processes and learn how ideas can be turned into practical solutions for a wide variety of organisations.
Each seminar will run twice during the day, so delegates can choose a morning or afternoon session. Places will be limited to ensure that the events remain as interactive as possible.
Roger Bibbings, RoSPA's occupational safety adviser, says: "As well as taking a look at case studies, the seminars will be an opportunity to share findings from research and best practice, and find out how to implement good ideas back in the workplace."
