FilterSpec, a new concept in eye and
respiratory protection that was
launched last year by JSP, has won the
Frost & Sullivan 2011 North America
New Product Innovation Award .
FilterSpec combines a mask and disposable filter with safety spectacles or goggles in a way that allows both protective devices to work independently, but in harmony.
FilterSpec and a goggle version called FilterSpec Pro allows both eye and respirator protection to work at their full effectiveness, but as an integrated unit so that a perfect fit is achieved with both items of PPE.
The spectacles conform to EN166.1F; the mask to EN1827:1999 FMP2 with a P2 filter.
