Safer slitting

Flexicon has launched a slitting tool for non-metallic flexible conduit to help avoid accidents on site and to make the process faster and simpler. The simple-to-use hand tool has a protected blade and fits inside the conduit. The contractor then slides it along the length of the flexible conduit to slit it. It can be used on all corrugated conduit diameters down to 13mm. When used with a slit conduit insertion tool, cutting the conduit and inserting cabling laterally into this, is an estimated four times faster. The company also sells slit conduit to order.
