Cat Pumps' ongoing quest for design improvements, enhanced manufacturing methods and better materials to increase the performance envelope of its pump range has resulted in the Model 1560 pump, a compact unit that delivers flow rates to 30L/min at pressures to 275 bar.

It was developed for high-spec mobile plant and fixed pressure cleaning installations, but can be used for any application that requires smooth flow, high pressure and long life. The pump has forged brass manifolds and a die-cast aluminium crank case, which contributes to its low weight (27.2kg), and precision tolerance control. External leakage is prevented by lubricated low-pressure seals; the close tolerance concentricity of the high density polished ceramic plungers maximises seal life.
