SKF has introduced two new
portable, compact, easy-to-use, multifunction
Stroboscopes, allowing
rotating or reciprocating machinery to
be inspected safely and efficiently
while in operation.
The TKRS stroboscopes are suitable for both machine operators and maintenance technicians, enabling a wide range of reciprocating equipment such as fan blades, couplings, gear wheels, machine tool spindles and belt drives to be inspected in running operation.
The stroboscopes enable the flash rate to be adjusted in seconds. The useful phase shift feature allows the object of interest to be positioned for easy viewing. TKRS 10 has a maximum flash rate of 12,500 flashes per minute and a xenon tube light source. For more demanding applications, the TKRS 20 has a maximum flash rate of 300,000 flashes per minute and a powerful LED light source. Additionally, it enables up to 10 user programmable flash rate memories to be quickly recalled.
