been working in close co-operation
with The North Hertfordshire
College in Stevenage to set up a new
welding skills training initiative and
centre at the college. The facility was
officially opened by John Hayes MP,
Minister of State for Education, Skills
and Lifelong Learning.
John Hayes said: "I am really pleased that training will be promoted both locally and at the national level and will enable learners to progress from foundation level through to a passport to practice welding internationally, leading to top TWI qualifications at the International Engineer level."
