The Murex Tradestig AC220
portable welding unit can be
used for a wide range of TIG
AC/DC welding applications.
It is suitable for repair and maintenance jobs, garages, bodyshops, aerospace, sheet metalwork and process engineering.
Murex says that a Tradestig AC220 welding package is currently available at an attractive price with a Saffire single stage TIG regulator and welding electrodes.
The Tradestig AC 220 is a compact, impact resistant machine that is light and easy to carry. Built in accordance with IP23, it can be used indoors and outside. A key feature is the Power Factor Correction (PFC) which makes it possible to use the full range of the machine on a 16A fuse. The PFC also protects the machine against fluctuating mains voltage and is said to make it safer to use with a generator.
