Opening its doors on Tuesday 28 February to Thursday 1 March 2012 at the NEC, Birmingham is MAINTEC 2012, which will be showcasing the very latest technologies in the industry. It is a chance for visitors to check out the latest innovations from 140 plus companies, from condition monitoring specialists to vibration sensor suppliers, and training providers to access platform providers.
There will also be a learnShops seminar programme running over the three days, for those of you who want to keep abreast with the latest issues and trends, with speakers from major brands such as Britvic, Siemens, and Schaeffler, all revealing their secrets to help those visiting succeed in 2012.
Simon Hatson, Regional QSE Manager - East at Britvic, will be providing insight in to how maintenance of both new and old equipment has been approached within one company in the food and drink industry. He will also be providing improvements to both people and plant while delivering tangible differences to health & safety performances and culture development.
Graeme Coyne, Business Development Manager at Siemens plc, will be focusing on the value of customer service to your maintenance operations. Whereas Dr Lee Renforth from High Voltage Partial Discharge Limited, specialists within the field of on-line PD testing and monitoring technology, will be discussing on-line partial discharge case studies for cables, switchgear, generators, motors and transformers.
Exciting additions have also been added to easyFairs MAINTEC 2012. In particular, a new hazardous event called HAZEX will be taking place, to reflect the growing responsibilities of maintenance professionals, and the growing concerns and tighter legislation over plants' health and safety.
It has just been announced that Sira Test & Certification Ltd (a CSA International company) will be supporting HAZEX. Sira has been at the forefront of hazardous area issues and training for over 25 years. It is a world leader in the conformity assessment solutions field and the UK's leading Notified Body for Ex Product Certification (ATEX & IECEx), indeed it has issued more IECEx certificates than any other certification body. So Sira's endorsement of HAZEX reflects the event's commitment to bringing the UK's top hazard prevention experts under one roof.
