Backing lifelong learning: ERIKS opens new multi-media training suite
11 August 2025
ERIKS HAS taken a great step forward in supporting both employee development and customer training with the opening of the newly refurbished multimedia training suite at its Fulfilment Centre of Expertise site in Oldbury in the West Midlands.

The suite represents a significant investment in new audio-visual (AV) equipment which will be used to supercharge both team skills and knowledge share with customers.
The new multimedia training suite features video, audio, live streaming and advanced Teams conferencing technology. It’s a flexible space with breakout areas and it will meet the demand for more training for both ERIKS staff and its customers - because the skills that those in industry need to stay ahead are shifting quickly. ERIKS recognises that its greatest asset in shaping the future will always be the potential of its people and as a business, it wants to invest in lifelong learning. The multimedia suite brings all this together to deliver training effectively and conveniently. The mantra which guides ERIKS’ beliefs are now written on the wall of the training suite: "Every expert was once a beginner. Training is how we close that gap."
ERIKS worked with AV specialist Media Digital, Part of the Media Group, on the fit out of the new suite and the result is a flexible space for all kinds of training and development activities. Training sessions can take place in the room (in multiple configurations) using the AV technology and the main screen or they can be broadcast to multiple attendees accessing the Teams system or live streams. Alternatively, they can easily be a mixture of both as; by using the multiple cameras, sessions can be recorded for on-demand use - making it easier to fit training in around the demands of the working day.
Technical knowledge and application experience are two of the main factors that set ERIKS apart and this multimedia suite will make it easier for the team to learn continuously from colleagues and for customers to learn from the team.
"Investing in the development of our people and helping them reach their full potential is something I’m incredibly proud of," said ERIKS CEO, Pamela Bingham. "This suite represents a significant step forward - not just in the technology it offers, but in how it enables our experts to reach more people, more effectively. What’s even more exciting is our ability to share these insights across the business and with our customers in ways that are tailored to their needs. This is more than just a new facility - it’s the beginning of a whole new journey for us."
