A leading forklift truck accessory
provider is celebrating international
success after securing a prestigious
ports and docks contract. Contact
Attachments has designed and
manufactured a bespoke Aerial
Rescue Platform to help ports and
docks management authorities
salvage injured crew from ships. The
product has been produced
especially for HEF in Belgium, and
has been installed at Antwerp docks.
The platform is capable of holding up to eight people plus a stretcher, has self-closing and automaticlocking gates for additional security, and is protected by a salt-resistant coating. It conforms with current EU regulations and exceeds new Safety Port Authority Regulations. Joe Headley, international business development manager for Contact Attachments, says feedback has been extremely positive and that the company recently sold two other bespoke rescue platforms to an oil company in Syria.
