Tips to skips
07 October 2015
When Plastica Pools in St Leonards on Sea, manufacturer of specialist swimming pool covers, liners, and reel systems, wanted a more effective way of storing and disposing of its waste materials, Contact Attachments provided two of its Tipping Skips.

Jason Cadman, sales and technical director at Contact Attachments, explained: "The Tipping Skip is ideal for handling waste that is light, such as paper, cardboard and packaging and – for Plastica Pools – off-cuts of swimming pool covers and accessories. With a mesh extension on three sides providing an extra 500mm of cubic volume capacity, they can handle the maximum amount of waste before being tipped into the compactor.”
The meshed extension Tipping Skips provide a high capacity and additional robustness without increasing the skip’s actual weight, and is one of Contact Attachments’ many Tipping Skip models, which includes regular and heavy duty bins, and auto release tips.
Ady Hall, Production Buyer at Plastica Pools, commented: "The quality of the skips was top rate, however this pales into insignificance with the quality of service we received as a result of us ordering the wrong size of skips – they couldn’t have been more helpful in averting a potential disaster!”
